Our attention was drawn to the Mankar units because they are capable of outputting the minimum amount of herbicide needed. Today, the combination of Mankar ULV technology and Roundup ProBiactive 450 is our preferred method of weed control along footpaths and around housing blocks, trails, trash bins, benches, signposts and traffic lights throughout the entire city centre of Coventry. The process is safe, effective and easy to implement. It leads to higher productivity and lower costs as work times and herbicide consumption are significantly reduced.

News from the Amenity Forum Annual Conference
Last week saw the Annual Amenity Forum Conference which was held at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.
As proud sponsors of the event the Spray CDA team were there along with a range of our latest demonstrator equipment on our trade stand. It was a very busy conference with large number of delegates and a packed program of events, Integrated Control was the key theme of the event with some really thought provoking presentations delivered by speakers from a wide range of disciplines. Low volume technology featured heavily in some presentations and showed demonstrable benefits in terms of reductions in pesticide use, water, fuel and time. Other new initiatives and changes announced included the 10 Key Points for Education, Training, Skills and Compliance, a must read for all in the industry, the launch of the Watch Out for Illegal Pesticides campaign in the Amenity Sector and major changes to Continual Professional Development.
Well done to John Moverley and the Amenity Forum Team on a great event; follow the link to see our round up of the event in Pitchcare Magazine http://www.pitchcare.com/magazine/staying-in-control.html
